Documentary about the British Board of Film Classification

Although filmmakers in Britain are still forced to pay to have their movies classified before legally selling them within the UK, at least the board isn’t quite as self-righteous and stuffy as it once was. Complete censorship has definitely moved on a long way since the days of banning Michael Winner’s soft-core nudist flick Some Like It Cool; however, I found it interesting to see the difficulties that Ken Russell had with getting The Devils through to the big screen without it being cut to shreds, as I think that there’s even less of a chance that a film like that would get a cinema release now, regardless of how much footage he removed.
